Let’s add to our spring refresh a refreshed sense of love for ourselves.
Have you ever thought of having a self-compassion practice? I love the idea of flexing our compassion muscle to ourselves regularly so that it can build up over time. Just like our yoga practice, we put in the work and slowly over time we begin to see the changes that we made. Spring is often a time when we focus on spring cleaning. This year join me in cleaning out our negativity towards ourselves as well.
Let’s lead this week by flexing a new muscle- our compassion muscle.
We are often much better at extending compassion to others than we are to ourselves, especially in difficult times. Being compassionate to ourselves is a skill that can be learned. Let’s join together this week and start a wave of self-compassion.
