Rooted in Purpose
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Spring is approaching but we’re still waiting to see more green and the first buds blooming. We know that the roots are already running deep, preparing for this season. I’m reminding myself of that this week - we are like the earth preparing for spring. We may not fully know our purpose yet, we may still be thinking, “I’ll be there when...” but remember dear friends, your roots are already deep. Feel grounded right where you are. Yes, a new season is coming as it always does but throughout all of the seasons you are rooted, you are strong, and you’re wonderful just as you are today.
In our class this week, we’ll play with poses where we are rooted through the bottom part of the body and rising and growing through the upper body. My call to action this week is to think about what makes you feel purposeful and add more of that into your week. If you strongly feel your sense of purpose when you’re helping others, can you find one or two ways this week to do that? Or perhaps showing up as the best partner in your relationship is where you see your purpose come to life - how can you show up for that person this week?
I feel my purpose come to life when I’m teaching others the tools to find their calm. So this week, I’m focusing on launching an adult version of the Breathe Easy Box (look for it to go live on Friday!!).
I’m so happy you’re here with me each week. Thank you for being here and helping me feel rooted in my purpose.
love and light,
Molly
