Inner Child
See the world through the eyes of your inner child. The eyes that sparkle in awe and amazement as they see love, magic, and mystery in the most ordinary things. -Henna Sohail
At this busy time of year, it is often so easy to get caught up in our haste to fit it all in and get it all done. This week I challenge to you find a time to embrace your inner child. Maybe through watching a child themselves as they encounter a holiday experience? Or possibly it means you carve out time to watch your favorite childhood Christmas movie without your phone nearby? Or simply driving around at night and just taking in the sparkling Christmas lights and being present to their beauty?
When you have a few moments this week, take some time to reflect on some of your favorite holiday memories. My guess is what you remember most isn't the gifts you received but the time spent with family and friends. I hope that you're able to take some long, deep breaths this week and remember to find the joy and magic in the little things that make this season so beautiful.
On our mats this week we'll work to embrace play with some fun postures. We'll also soak in some quiet amidst the chaos with our breath practices.
