Does it seem as if everywhere you turn someone is sick lately? This school year has been a doozy in our house with kids home from school sick. One powerful benefit of practicing yoga is helping boost our immune system. We can talk with our kids about this too- ways we can help our immune system- healthy foods, drinking lots of fluids, and using our yoga poses.

Having a healthy lifestyle can sometimes feel daunting or overwhelming. You might ask yourself, how can I possibly fit in working out, eating healthy, and drinking water each day when I’m already tapped to the max? Just like we often talk about with our yoga practice, any progress is progress. Also, shifting our mindset can help. Rather than thinking, “I should” or “I have to” can we think this week, “I get to.” I get to take care of my body to keep it healthy.
